The application itself, consists of:
(1) A registration form emailed to you by request sent to Madison Vaughn (email@example.com)
(2) A one page paper written by the applicant on your call to join us on this spiritual journey
(3) A statement of endorsement from the applicant’s Campus Minister/Director, Pastor, or College Chaplain
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and notification of acceptance will be emailed within 10 days. The staff completes participant selection, basing their acceptance on the applicant’s spiritual maturity and curiosity; the applicant’s faith commitment and servant-leadership ability; and the applicant’s clarity and conviction of call to join us on the journey.
Dates and Cost
The dates for the 2016 Qwest West are May 17-30. The cost of Qwest West is $1,100 for students who apply before February 15. After that date, the trip cost is $1,200. After April 15, the cost may be higher because of airfare. The cost includes transportation, camping and entrance fees, coffee mug, water bottle, t-shirt, and all food with the exception of ten meals. A deposit of $200 is due within seven days of acceptance. The balance for the trip is due April 14, 2016.
Scholarships, payment plans, and need-based financial aid are available. Please do not let money get in the way of your Qwest West!
