The application itself, consists of:

(1) A registration form emailed to you by request sent to John Cook (jcook@qwestwest.org)
(2) A one page paper written by the applicant on your call to join us on this spiritual journey
(3) A statement of endorsement from the applicant’s Campus Minister/Director, Pastor, or College Chaplain
Applications are accepted starting September 1, 2021 on a rolling basis and notification of acceptance will be emailed within 10 days. The staff completes participant selection, basing their acceptance on the applicant’s spiritual maturity and curiosity; the applicant’s faith commitment and servant-leadership ability; and the applicant’s clarity and conviction of call to join us on the journey.

Dates and Cost

Qwest West 2021 has been postponed to May 2022. Tentative dates: May 11 – May 25, 2022.

The cost of Qwest West is $1,900. The cost includes transportation, camping and entrance fees, t-shirt, and all food with the exception of ten meals. A deposit of $300 is due within seven days of acceptance, and arrangements of when the remaining $1,600 will be due will be made after acceptance. The balance for the trip is due April 1, 2022. After April 1, the balance may be higher due to airfare.
Scholarships, payment plans, and need-based financial aid are available. Please do not let money get in the way of your Qwest West!
